Developing a deeper understanding

A solution is only as good as your understanding of the problem.  We believe in devoting our first meetings to understanding each person's unique situation:  identifying goals, assessing the current obstacles, viewing them within the wide-angle lens of context and history, and appraising the individual's strengths and weaknesses.  

We have a tremendous amount of experience in conducting psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults.  The focus of our assessments may include:

• Learning Problems

• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

• Giftedness

• Behavioral-Emotional Problems

• Personality Patterns

We have a reputation for reliable testing and clear reporting of results.  Typically, you will receive a prompt and practical written report that details our findings and recommendations.

This report may be used for your own understanding or can, with your permission, be shared with other professionals (e.g., your child's school, tutors, physicians, therapists) who are helping you reach your stated goals.

As needed, we will also consult with school personnel to review our findings and recommendations, assist in developing an Individual Education Plan (IEP), or help to implement changes in the classroom, home, or workplace.
